Hey folks, it's that time again! Cd review blog is ready to drop! I'll get right to the point this time, Addison Road's new album "Stories" is not just a record of great music. Each song has a unique story to tell, everything from redemption (Change in the Making) to our witness in the world (This Little Light of Mine). Addison Road is no doubt a talented group of songwriters and musicians, and they've matured from their incredible self-titled debut. I'm not trying to put too much hype on them, but I am a little biased because I am a big fan. Although the first record has some great pop/rock songs, the guitars are a little louder on this album and it's great to see a slightly different sound from the first record. The spiritual message is continually forward and clear in the songs, often prayerful moments on songs like "Show Me Life" and "Who I am In You". Addison Road's music is always an encouragement to me and every listen is like a breath of fresh air. I hope that their music leaves the same impression on you and your students. My favorite song have to be "Won't Let Me Go" and "My Story" because the message continually hits me right at the heart, and they just have a unique sound for Addison Road. So, all that being said, Addison Road is a great band and I suggest you check out their music the first chance you get. You won't be disappointed!! Thanks for reading and God bless!!!! Matthew 5:16
