Hi Mark, finished "Your Own Jesus" this a.m., well done thy good and faithful servant, looking forward to reaading your next book. Saw you and Casting Crowns at the Delaware State Fair this past summer with about 80 other folks from my church, was a great evening and we loved you guys. I'm thankful for what Christ is doing in your life. Peace and blessings to you and and your ministries.
my church has started a new bible study class for us females and your book "the well" is our topic for now. I want to personally thank you for all you have done through Christ. You are in my prayers. Please pray for me. thank you.
Hey Mark, saw the band in San Antonio last night. Great show, very nice songwriting and inspirational messages. The musician/songwriter in me loved every minute. The communications professional perked up when you mentioned "religion" twice during the evening. Because I detected a bit of a negative tone there, I looked up your bios and saw the quote about your feelings regarding structured religion getting in the way of a relationship with Jesus. I'm sure you've seen the YouTube dude who says he hates religion but loves Jesus. It's a very well produced and compelling three minutes, and any teenager or adult for that matter unwilling to do a little research might fall for the modern blather. Actually, Jesus started the Church. He entrusted it to St. Peter. Religious organizations have done countless deeds of charity which Christ commands. The Catholic Church is the single greatest charitable organization ever created. Might have something to do with Jesus entrusting it to Peter. So, your are right in saying our relationship with Jesus is what counts. But you are wrong in insinuating that religion is only a tired set of rules that doesn't inspire us to living as Jeses instructed. In fact, Jesus knew we'd need help, so he gave us His church and guidelines to facilitate that relationship building. Think of Mother Teresa when you want to distance yourself from religion. So, you might take a cue from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by loving all people. Just because there are some "holier than thou" types, you can't throw the "religion isn't fruitful" blanket over all religious people. Be inclusive, put your God-given talents to work and write more great songs and humbly (that means without judgement) use your stage to invite everyone to Jesus' glory, without regard to whether they get their saving grace through a religious organization or not.
A new collection of carols added more pleasure to this Christmas. All folks were lean on the tune. hot shot jobs

I have read that book, The story. I have got really fascinated by the way he wrote the book. It contains lots of carols, which I used to sing in my childhood. It was a great Christmas gift for the people all over the world. more here
