Pleae help us spread a story about my nephew, Dale Settle, Jr. He was on his way to Bible Study on Sept. 22nd in Canton, Ohio with 2 friends. At the steps of the house they were going to, they were approached by two people, one who had a gun. Dale, with Bible in hand, talked to the gunman, offering to help him, prayed, and then stepped in front of his 2 friends to protect them. Dale was shot in the stomach. As he laid on the ground, witnesses say he was praying for forgiveness for his killers. In the ER, he was still conscious and asked the doctors and nurses to pray for his killers also. He went through 5 hours of surgery but they could not save him. Dale was 22 and would have been 23 on November 6th. His love for God, his heroism and his strong faith are what is getting our family through this. A frien of his was recently at one of your concerts and spoke to one of your singers. He shared Dale's story and gave him a green wristband, "RIP Dale Settle, Jr. Our hero 11/6/88 to 9/23/11". We want Dale's story to spread so his story will continue to inspire people and his work of spreading God's love will continue. Over 300 homes were delivered Thanksgivng foods by family and friends, in the same neighbohood where he was killed. in Jackson,Ms and we really felt the presence of the LORD and
injoyed your concert.

My name is Hobie Hughes I am 42 years old and my wife and I are
currantly the youth leaders at our church as well as be on the praise
and worship team
I am the lead guitar player and I am trying very hard to get a band off
the ground and running, I have found it vert hard to get musicians to
get serious about the band and we have came up with the name STAY with the letter T in the the shap of a tree with roots coming out of the bottom of it and a image of JESUS on the cross on it as well.

If you have any suggestions for me on how to get this band moving any faster I would really like any advice you could offer me.

Myself and the rythem player are very serious about the band project and he and my self spend alot of time together in our studio we have working up tunes and new songs.

Mark Hall, I'm not sure how to contact you all, but thought I'd start here. We are huge fans of Casting Crowns and I have a special request. We were at your "concert" December 6th, 2011, at Oak Brook Community Church. My son was the security guard for your group. He had gotten a CD and all the band members signed it. A girl who he liked at the time expressed that she would love to have the CD and he broke down and gave it to her. Shortly after, she broke off their friendship for no reason. She would not give him back his CD and is upset to have lost it. Is there any way to get a CD that has all the band members signatures on it? Thank you, A caring mom -- Sheri N.

I have been following the Book of James study and just picked up a copy of your book, The Well. I had a thought about those clay soldiers. How we build little clay soldiers all the time. We have all these great ideas, what we plan to say or do, how we are going to fix that person or tell that other person what's what. We may not even ever have that conversation and often don't. But we build these little armies of clay soldiers to stand against the challenges we face in life. Especially when it may be our own weakness that is the real problem. When all we need to do is to give it over to God, to invite Christ into our hearts and live in Him. The hardest part for me is that sometimes the answer from God is not a solution to my problem but the single sylable, "Wait." Like the Psalm says, "Be still and know that I am your God." Sometimes that can be a long time. My pastor shared about a scrawny shepard boy's prayers from Bethlehem that were answered a thousand years later with the birth of our Savior. That boy became Israel's King David but he lived his life longing for the King of kings. And his prayer was eventually answered.

I have been observing many, many Christian web sites and - as a web designer and believer - I frequently wondered why a Christian band, ministry or business would not have a plan of salvation in a very clear and easy to locate location on their web sites. After all, "if we are his body...."

I am a big fan of your music. There are many Christian bands that have a good sound but your group is set apart because of it non-wavering, clear to the point message about Jesus our lord and master. I have all but your latest album, soon to be remedied. I live in northwest Indiana and was wondering if your band would consider doing a concert in the Star Plaza Theatre at the Radisson Star in Merrillville Indiana. I think that you would draw a large crowd of Christians and the unsaved that Christians would bring as an outreach. The Star Plaza Theatre is a well-known, established venue that non-Christians would know only quality acts play there. This would make it easier for Christians to reach out to their lost friend’s and family. Please consider.

Casting Crowns songs particularly "Voice of Truth" carried me through her treatment after attending your Good Friday 2008 concert. It reminded me not to be afraid and that God would be glorified through this. He has! My daughter nearly died from PCP pneumonia secondary to her chemo in December 2009. God used "Voice of Truth" once again to show me a beautiful vision while she was in ICU on a ventilator and worsening when she should be getting better. I would love to share it with the group especially Mark as the writer. My daughter is now recovered from her pneunonia and 2 years out of chemotherapy still in remission. She is a beautiful healthy 4 year-old girl. I will be at my 3rd Casting Crowns concert with my family in Greenville,SC in March I hope to be blessed by our special song that God used your voices to speak to me through so many times.

Chloe’s Dad Geoff, Chloe and I are going to Parachute in Hamilton NZ in a couple of weeks...
Our family has had a bit of a rough time in the last year with earth quakes in our city Christchurch... We lived in a caravan park for almost two years to get ahead and build a house... we were in our house for three years and now it will have to be pulled down. We still have to live there while waiting for the insurance company to sort us out... if we move out the house will not be insured... so we are stuck :( and its stinky and smelly... Bad toillet pipe breaks and blockages...I think you get the picture... It all just stinks :P
Anyway with all that said, my lovely A.D.D/Dyslexic daughter Chloe has had a rough time... not just with quakes, but with school... we have finally decided to move her from her Church school, to the public because of bullying...she is such an amazing child, I know I’m supposed to say that because I’m her mother... but she really is... She really shares your “until the whole world hears” mentality! and I am sure God will use her at her new school this year:) She tells people she wants to be a missionary in teacher in China :) A few years back her teacher told me she probably would never be able to read... I said to myself self...WHATEVA!!! Three years later - she can read very well!

I don’t usually pull the “poor me” card, but for my daughter I would do anything! I currently play the drums at my church-Enon Baptist Church of Chester,Va and we play several of your songs.I have wanted to see you guys for a long time.The times you have been through here I always had something going on. First of all I want to thank you times infinity. I don't know why I was led toward you but I was. I was a raging alcoholic, prescription pills, pot etc, life was all about me. I admitted myself into treatment hoping to become a better person, husband and father. I have been sober for 3 1/2 months now. I was 'driven' to find christian music on Itunes and every song I loved was by Casting Crowns so I just bought the "Come to the Well" album. Through listening to your music, God found me. Even though I wanted better, I didn't really ask for Him. He just decided to show up with the best gift ever. Since then I haven't craved alcohol or anything else...other than more of His love. I even quit smoking 3 weeks ago, and he makes me feel as if I never smoked. And I have tried quitting before...this time it was Him for sure, cause I didn't do so well on the other times I tried alone. Ramble ramble...anyway I just want to thank you for being part of my life now. I really enjoy your music and learning more about God through your Bible studies. I bought my wife and myself 3rd row seats for your Fargo concert and will be giving them to her this weekend for our anniversary. I can't wait! Hope to meet you in person!
