Wednesday was a sightseeing day for us. We saw all of the major things that Nanjing is known for.
We visited the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Museum. Its a very well done Museum in honor of the sacrifice, heroism, and great loss experienced in the events that happened in Nanjing years ago.
We also visited the Cloud Brocade Living Museum where they still make embroidery w/ elaborate 2 person looms. It takes 2 people working eight hours to finish less than 5inches of brocade. Tedious and yet the result is beautiful. Of course my kids asked "Isn't there a machine to do that?". However they were told that there isn't a machine that can duplicate what they do. Nanjing is well known for their embroidery.
We visited a Freshwater Pearl Farm and saw how they cultivated them. Bought Hope a little pearl bracelet for a future gift.
We also visited Dr. Sun Yatzen's Mausoleum. He is known as The Father of Modern China. There are 392 steps to the top of the memorial. Mark and the big kids climbed everyone. (Mark has regretted it ever since.)
It was a great day. "Meeka" quite enjoyed herself and her family. Lot of smiles with her dimples and wrinkled up nose.

Congratulations! We have two children from China Shane who is 5 and Abigail who is 4.
We saw you in concert last year in Charlottesville at the JPJ. It was a great show.
Keep the faith it can be a hard journey but the BLESSINGS are much greater.
Had our medical examination today too in Guangzhou. Everything went well, but it was a little crazy when we were there. Praying for you guys as we are going through the journey at the same time.

A HAIRBOW! I love it! ;) Isn't it amazing how everything in China seems to represent something else? Incredible culture! So happy to read more about those smiles, too.
Hello Hall family!
We too have a Chinese member in our family. She will turn 6 tomorrow and has been the shining light in our lives since 2005. She's from the province of Guiyang and we are wishing you guys the best of luck! We love you guys and welcome to the family! :-)
Thank you ever so much for your hearts and music. Your latest song has so touched me. I am a mom of 8. I am still homeschooling 5, and after a 35 year marriage, my husband and I have separated. All I can say is "If we ever needed You, Lord it's now..." God is holding our family, even though it is scary now. Songs such as yours God is using to bring comfort and peace. Again, THANK YOU !! ---Karen Justice
