Our enemy is very good at what he does, lying and deceiving.
The evil spirits whisper to us to see how we will react to our surrounding and to their temptations toward us. They do not know our complete thoughts, but evil does observe and remembers how we respond to the “button pushing.” He takes his time; he may even take a lifetime, our lifetime to accomplish what he desires. Learning which “buttons” get what response allows them to wait like a lion for the right moment and place to go for the take down.
Father, please help us when we have our buttons pushed by our enemy. Give us the knowledge to know what is going on. And please forgive us when we respond incorrectly to the button pushing. May we cry out to You to remove the finger that is pushing our buttons. And even when there are time in our lives we may have a slow fade, thank You for the fast response to the true repentance cry for help.
