The Tour Thus Far

Hello Peoples,

 First of all, welcome to the new website, and to a new era with a new album and new songs making it completely impossible to please everyone now, because we have too many songs for the time allotted us (and by "allotted" I mean cutting it off before people start to leave, I mean you guys have lives, you know?).  Oh for the days of, "We only have 10 songs, so let's just sing 'em all".  Actually I like this problem, and its been fun hearing which ones all of you have missed.

;

So far we've been to Rio Rancho, Phoenix, LA, Irvine, Bakersfield, Roseville, Tualatin, Redmond, Langley BC, Boise, Casper, Denver, Amarillo, Lexington, Nashville, Chattanooga, Cordova, Spartanburg, Charlotte, Macon, Green Bay, Brookfield, South Bend, Grove City, Akron, Chicago, Raleigh, Virginia Beach, Woodbridge, Jacksonville, Tampa, West Palm Beach and Fort Myers. We've been EVERYWHERE......man.  And with only a few concerts left, we're already starting to wax nostalgic, saying things like "'Member that one time when we were all like 'uuh man! I ate too much catering!'" To which Hector usually replies "That was yesterday, Juan".

"Yeah...I knew that"

   This tour has been a little different in that the CD JUST CAME OUT.  By this time, you would have already heard some songs and would be able to sing along at the concert.  So far, its been a really loud listening party, but thanks to everyone for hanging in there and even singing with us before some of the songs are over, that really lets us know what you think.  For everyone else, you have no excuse, now that its out, you MUST sing along.

   We have been able to weather sickness, fatigue, and annoying people that are on our bus (like me).  And its all because you guys have been praying for us.  Continue to pray, because it ain't over yet.  And if we haven't made it close to you, just hold your breath, because there's a Spring tour as well.

   Lastly, I would have to say the biggest impact on me from this tour so far is the number of people who tell us they have dealt with loss so close to the concert date.  I'm talking months, sometimes days.  All that tells me is that they're not coming to a concert, and they tell us, they're coming to talk with God, to start healing, to have peace.  That is why I get up at 5 in the morning to get on a plane to keep a 2 year old occupied on what is essentially a hallway with wheels.  To hear that God uses what we do to heal people wherever it is that they're broken.

  Sorry its taken me so long to write, we had this new website thingy, and I wanted to make sure it was kickin before I dove in again.  Look for more youth group stuff on the resources page.  God bless

Peace

Juan
