(Mark Hall, Matthew West, Bernie Herms)
From where I’m standing
Lord, it’s so hard for me to see
Where this is going
And where You’re leading me
I wish I knew how
All my fears and all my questions
Are going to play out
In a world I can’t control
When I’m lost in the mystery
To You my future is a memory
‘Cause You’re already there
You’re already there
Standing at the end of my life
Waiting on the other side
And You’re already there
You’re already there
From where You’re standing
Lord, You see a grand design
That You imagined
When You breathed me into life
And all the chaos
Comes together in Your hands
Like a masterpiece
Of Your picture-perfect plan
When I’m lost in the mystery
To You my future is a memory
One day I’ll stand before You
And look back on the life I’ve lived
I can’t wait to enjoy the view
And see how all the pieces fit
One day I’ll stand before You
And look back on the life I’ve lived
‘Cause You’re already there
You’re already there
When I’m lost in the mystery
To You my future is a memory
‘Cause You’re already there
You’re already there
Standing at the end of my life
Waiting on the other side
And You’re already there
You’re already there

This songs speaks volumes to me.. Love it!
I was at the concert on October 28th and heard you play this song. i teared up and its because this is the hardest thing for me to grasp about God. I have a friend who committed suicide this year. One week before his birthday and i fully believe God has a plan for us all but for this kid who was only 15 and he died and God knew it was going to happen? its then that i ask why. why did have to die so young? i just dont understand but i trust God knows what he is doing with all of us. Thank you for playing this song
First, I am very sorry for your loss. We don't always understand why things happen as they do in the world we live in, but we can rest assured that God is in control and does what is best in the life of all of us. Death is a part of living, and God has not guaranteed us a certain amount of time on earth. Every day that we awaken is a gift from God and we should live life as if it were our last day... imitating the love of God and Christ and doing whatever possible for our fellowman. Ours is not to question "why" or demand an explanation from God; He owes us none of that. Ours is to be obedient to His Word and do our best to be more Christ-like each day we are allowed to wander on this earth. Remain steadfast in your beliefs and ever trust in God to guide your path. I pray for healing of your heart.
YOU WISELY EXPLAINED HOW A PERSON WITH JESUS' SPRIT IN THEIR HEART AND LIFE SHOULD LIVE THEIR DAILY LIVES.
APPRECITE YOUR COMMENT. GOD BLESS-
My friend, God knows it all, yes He does. But what I wanna tell you is that we, humans have so much free will. That exactly was why we have sinned in the beginning. Adam and Eve could refuse to eat the forbidden fruit if they wantu to, but they chose to eat it. God gave us free will because He loves us and He wanted us to love Him back with that free will. What I'm trying to say is that your friend is fooled by the devil, convincing him to end his own his life. I'm so sorry to hear it by the way. If he found God, have Him in his life and chose to live according to HIS will, that would not happened:-( hope you understand what I mean.
THAT IS TRUE. WELL SAID.
I had such a wonderful experience this weekend. I bought this cd at Family Christian and listened to it on my 10hr drive from Miami to Atlanta....this song really spoke to me. Why are we stressing when GOD has out road already mapped out, from birth to when we sleep-in.
Just trust him and know that HE does not make mistakes! Hallelujah!
I was invited to go and watch Casting Crowns here in Melbourne... It almost didn't happen due to baby sitters...but then it came through... We went and I can not begin to tell you how blessed my wife and i were .
It was wasn't just a great concert- it was so encouraging in everyway -from every member of the band... I pray that casting crowns and families are blessed every step they take in their ministries... God bless them with all our heart..... Continue the great and good fight for the one and only our Lord &savior and best friend Jesus Christ...... And yes come to the well is what it's all about....lots of love in Christ!!!
I love this album, It is truly inspiring to me. I'm going to the concert in Birmingham.
Saw the show in Troy, 2/19. The Holy Spirit's cleansing peace washed my soul as we all worshiped the Lord. Love this and all the new songs. Wedding Day and Come to the Well really speak to me. Thank you Casting Crown's!!!!
My husband may need back surgery and my business is slowly growing so we are struggling through some dark days, but God keeps shining His light on the possibilities of what is to come when He is done refining us through this time. This song, "Already There" reminds me that no matter how much chaos seems to be in my life, it's all in my Master's hands and He knows what the beautiful picture will be in the end. He knows the end. Thank you for writing, singing, and putting this song out for all of us to be encouraged in our Christian walk. You have been in our prayers and will continue to be as the Lord uses you!
