"And she wears His righteousness" That is the deepest truth that so many Christians are missing. I can't make it through that part without tearing up.

This song is a beautiful description of how the church is the bride of Christ. We are certainly all undeserving, but covered by His blood, He sees us as his beautiful bride and loves us with a depth that we cannot understand. May we always live to glorify His name!

This song means so much to me and my family. My mother passed away October 27, 2011. The night of her passing my niece posted Wedding Day on Facebook. It meant the world to me to have a song saying exactly what I envisioned, my mother entering Heaven. We played it at her funeral a few days later. I know that she is now whole, and at peace, in the arms of our Lord and Savior.

My grandmother recently passed. On the way to see her on what would be her last day this song came on my cd and I had to pull over and ball. But it was in a good way. She was an amazing women and this song made me think of all that was in store for her. It's brought me a lot of peace.

I have a question about the last part of "Wedding Day". The part where is says "Forever we will reign".
Who is the "We" it is referring to?
Other than that one part, I truly love the song, and it is very touching.

this song expresses more beautifully what i will soon see. my bridegroom,my one true Love,Jesus,decending Heaven's grand stairway to take me in His arms forever!we will ascend to His throne. forever in His Love. when oncologists tell you the end is near,they have no idea what a glorious wedding day awaits! thank you for allowing God to use you to show me the glory just ahead!

I cannot listen to this song anywhere but at home, not even in my car because I cry(more like BAWL) like a baby when I hear this. I have never been married and I tell myself it's ok...when you die you will be married to Jesus, who will see no flaws in you and will tell you how beautiful you are!
Idon't know HOW Casting Crowns even came up with these lyrics!! I love the CD but this is the ONLY song on t for me! Love you guys!

This is a truly wonderful song and is one of my favourites. It does bring a sense of peace to me. I love the words used as wishes for those who have now left us. I have also used part of it in wedding quotes given in cards. I find it to be really touching and personal.
