Johnson City was a fun show. The crowd was sold out and everyone there was loud, you guys rocked the house all night long. Juan DeVevo said "I was hitting a slump during Spirit Wind and i wasn't playing so well. Not really mistakes, just not up to par. Then we hit the bridge where the girls sing and for the first time i saw people standing (which is kind of odd for the acoustic set) singing "Holy Spirit breathe Your life in me" that really lifted me up. It was great to see!" Brian Scoggin said "Johnson City showed up last night." We hope everyone who came enjoyed the show. Thanks Johnson City!!

The concert in Johnson City last night was truly an amazing night of worship and praise to our Heavenly Father. I came for two reasons, to be blessed by the music and to try to encourage Casting Crowns to come to Eastern KY for a benefit concert to help the several counties effected by the tornado that touched down there on March 2nd. Several churches in the area, over two years ago, started Awaken Ministries of KY (awakenky.com). Awaken, who has an annual two day youth conference and an association with Ichthus, are trying to organize the benefit concert. Eastern KY Expo Center as well as the Mountain Arts Center are two excellent venues for concerts, and to sell out with all proceeds going to the tornado victims, it would be a blessing to have a group like Casting Crowns come and help with the healing of the devestation that wrecked our communities. I loved this show. I had just recently come to Christ about two months before!! This really showed me that God wants to be in my life and he has been ever since!!!!!!
