Good point. Unity not uniformity. We have trouble appreciating each others' gifts and must remember we are not all hands, feet, etc. Together we are the body. We need to let Christ be the center (the vine) or we will not accomplish anything worthwhile or long lasting. Thanks for that reminder.
AMEN IF ITS IN BIBLE AND ITS IN YOUR MINISTRY HOW CAN ANYONE NOT AGREE WITH THAT AMEN AMEN

This song reminds me of my church. It split about year ago over worship style issues, among other things. It has been one of the most painful experiences of my life. Why can't Christians love each other and accept each others unique gifts? Just because something is different from what you have always done doesn't mean its wrong or it can't reach people for Christ. My church is truly "The City on The Hill".
I love this song and totally get it but am wondering who the poets and the dancers represent in the church.
HI, There was a video that was played on the screen to the song "City on the Hill" at Kingdom Bound. I am wondering if this is something we would be able to play at our women's event coming up in September. How would I go about getting permission and paying to use it? THank you, candace THompson
I absolutely love this song. It spoke to me in a very powerful way and the spirit has led me to want to do a praise dance to it at my church. I thought that was all I was going to be doing but this week as I prepare the spirit has laid a message on my heart as well. He wants me to speak to the congregation before I dance. My pastor is going to be starting a new program with a push of evangelism in the fall and the words just flowed as I started writing all coming together to the end challenging everyone to use their gifts together. I am so excited to be being used by the Lord to bring this message and I thank you so much for this wonderful song. It spoke to me in a similar yet different way than what you have said above. I would love to share with you the testimony I am going to give about it on Sunday but don't know where to send it. If you would like to hear what the spirit has laid on my heart through your song drop me an email at pjhome@aol.com.
