I used to do everything right. This friend I had , she didn't. Today, I'm stuck in life, she, who always's done what she wanted, without caring, is living the perfect life! I'm not talking about money. I'm talking about happiness, children, life in general... I'm useless and I always did things right. Always listened my parents. She didn't. Today, I regret having been so right, because God seems to give her a perfect life and I'm happy for her, but I'm angry with myself and with God, because I was good, a good person. And today, I feel stupid for that. If I had been more like her, maybe today I would be living a better life. Does God see me? God sees I'm sad, empty, and afraid? Should I be in the past, more like her and less like my parents demanded from me (praying, obeying, studying...)? Today, I look into my life and I see nothing. No future, no present, and a very poor past. No friends, a very smal family... I'm gonna end up alone, and God - if He sees me - knows how terrified I get with this idea. What should I do? I started smoking because of this friend I'd told, but cigarettes are not helping me as they should and as they used to do... If my life doesn't start to get better, I decided to start drinking. I'm gonna try to be the "bad girl" i refused to be before. So ask for advice is my last try before get crazy, thinking about my life and my future.
Dear Brazilian Perso
Life isn't always easy and we don't always understand everything that happens to us or/and around us. We tend to blame everything on God when something goes wrong but forget that we also make choices, sometimes really bad ones and sometimes even unconsciously make mistakes and choices that take us off God's plan for our lives. Living a Godly life is the right thing to do but it isn't enough. Doing things for God without God is useless. Live a Godly life but don't forget God also tells us that "Good works without faith is worthless" God is always there waiting for you. Spend time with Him, get to know Him. God is amazing. Look at Job. Life isn't easy and no one knows that better than Jesus, so you and I have a reason to have hope and know we have been given victory, we just have to grab it. God speaks about the future of the those who honor Him and also those you dishonor Him, and God never lies. You precious to Him!! God loves you! The choice is yours to get to know Him and believe me,God is there for you waiting to reveal more and more of Him to you. Alcohol and rebelling against God isn't going to make things in your life get any better. I pray you will get to know God more and more and with that you will see the storm in your own life disappear as you allow Jesus to work in your life. Be strong!
