Mark,
I attended your concert at my church, Bellevue Baptist, in Memphis a couple weeks ago. This was my first CC concert and I was so touched by how you guys show your love for God thru music. Not only was the music worshipful, but your teaching thru the music was awesome. I decided to check out your website and while clicking thru just getting to know each or the members, i noticed you had done a study in James. I recently rededicated my life to the Lord and began my reading in the book of James. I know there are no coincidences only devine appointments and my finding this daily study was and is a "God Thing". I wake up each morning and can't wait to see where God leads you (and I) in this awesome book. In saying all of that.....Thank you for your willingness to share and lead. I am a mother of a very wayword son who is now a man of 21 or at least in the world's eyes he's a man. He has a solid foundation but Satan has wrapped his filthy arms aroung him and is pulling him down a destructive path. I know that our God will not leave or forsake us and I know He has a tight grasp on Tim and will not let him go. Please pray for Tim, that he will once again have a heart for Christ and pray for me, that I would recieve the wisdom we are reading about in James 3. Keep up the good and faithful work.
Polly
Mark,
I've just finished your study of James 1. Thank you, my brother and I lead a prayer group of firefighters each week and have started sharing your study on James and the response has been awesome. On a personal note, God has used this to really speak to me and remind me He is in control.
Thanks again,
Steve
First of all I want to thank you times infinity. I don't know why I was led toward you but I was. I was a raging alcoholic, prescription pills, pot etc, life was all about me. I admitted myself into treatment hoping to become a better person, husband and father. I have been sober for 3 1/2 months now. I was 'driven' to find christian music on Itunes and every song I loved was by Casting Crowns so I just bought the "Come to the Well" album. Through listening to your music, God found me. Even though I wanted better, I didn't really ask for Him. He just decided to show up with the best gift ever. Since then I haven't craved alcohol or anything else...other than more of His love. I even quit smoking 3 weeks ago, and he makes me feel as if I never smoked. And I have tried quitting before...this time it was Him for sure, cause I didn't do so well on the other times I tried alone. Ramble ramble...anyway I just want to thank you for being part of my life now. I really enjoy your music and learning more about God through your Bible studies. I bought my wife and myself 3rd row seats for your Fargo concert and will be giving them to her this weekend for our anniversary. I can't wait! Hope to meet you in person!
Thanks brother,
Brock
