Mark Miller

I am a musician and songwriter. I play guitar every other Sunday and the bass all other Sundays at our church. I have seen God work in my, as well as my family's and my church family's lives. I have preached and taught and don't write it off as something I will do again. My call seems to be to the youth. I am 43 years old, but I am a rockin' musician who likes to play loud. I can talk to teens and early twentys easier but I also love to sit and listen to the stories of the elderly men and women. We are currently working on bringing in youth and the praise team will be going into the community this spring and summer to play festivals and fairs. I love Casting Crowns and am inspired by the message of their songs. I think having the violin (fiddle where I'm from) in a Christian band is wonderful. I have one myself and I look forward to Melodee's blogs because I don't know how to play it yet. Hector's blogs are helpful and Mark is a great teacher and I pray his blogs will be viewed and taken seriously by youth leaders. I am gleaning from them what I can because I might be a youth pastor again and discipleship was always my focus with the youth. Glory to God for all He is doing in Casting Crown's ministries.
