I retired (again) after 30 years working as a mental health crisis intervention specialist. I am also a member of a Critical Incident Stress Management team and teach CISM to emergency service personnel. I've been married to my wife SallyAnn - a pastor - for 49 years. I've been a member of the Ascutney Union Church in Ascutney, VT, for over 40 years, but currently have been attending the Greater Hartford UCC in Hartford, VT, the church my wife pastors. Jesus is an extremely important part of my life and has been for as long as I can remember. My wife and I have had three kids, two boys and a girl. Our oldest son, Frank, Jr., died of a brain tumor two years ago at age 46. About the same time, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. We also have eight grandchildren whose arrival finally showed us why it was we had those pesky kids.
